Day 3 is complete

Today was the third day of shooting, and we had scheduled the largest dialog scene of the film. The scene takes place in BJ Roasters --a local chicken restaurant in Millville--between the two main characters.

The weather called for rain until 2 and then windy conditions after that. The problem was that we also had a scene that was to take place outside of the restaurant. So, after much stress about trying to get out of the restaurant on time, and after more breathtaking performances from the actors, and after Drew working his ass off to the brink of passing out, we got the indoor scene done and the rain finished just in time for the rain to stop. We got everything we needed at BJ Roasters!

Mary wrapped today. The set is going to be very different without her because she was always ready to lend a hand on crew when she wasn't on camera. Mary was incredible. I knew the minute she auditioned she was Allison; the character I had written came to life instantly. It was magic.

After we wrapped for the day -- fifteen minutes ahead of schedule -- we took the night off and got some much needed rest. We had a huge group dinner with lasagna, meatballs and even some birthday cake for Fry! Yes, apparently it was Fry's birthday today. He didn't tell us until this morning. I'm pretty sure he forgot about the whole thing.

We had a nice crew Wii party and called it a night. Tomorrow is going to be a long day but at least we had a nice afternoon to just have some fun.

If every crew was like this one every movie set would be an amazing place. We are only two days away from wrap and I'm not so sure how to feel about it. I am going to be relieved when the shooting is done, but I really am going to miss this crew.

Good night.
